Rabbit Run Creative is a fluid multidisciplinary design studio working with clients both in Appalachia and across the globe. Our approach is what we like to call fluid, moving with the seasons of business, interest, creativity, and life. Services thus rotate, but frequently include creative direction, brand identity, web design, and front-end development. We work with individuals, businesses, and organizations that harbor human connection and old school values in a rapidly changing world. Research-informed process, sustainable strategy, and close collaboration with clients are our keystones.

Designing Appalachia

Designing Appalachia is a developing initiative dedicated to increasing equitable access to professional creative services and improving equity within the creative industry in Appalachia. D-A provides pro-bono creative services to support underserved communities, causes, businesses, and non-profits via a network of participating creators located throughout the region. The initiative also provides a directory of participating creative professionals in Appalachia in an effort to provide visibility, opportunity, and connection for those looking to hire for projects within their communities.

2014-Current

After graduating from Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Photography in 2014, I moved back to Southwest Virginia and began working in the nonprofit sector, focusing on rural arts development and environmental advocacy.

I also make artwork about place & memory, the Appalachian region and the greater South. Outside of work, I’m probably working on my mid-century house in the mountains, drinking beer on the porch, hyperfixating on a new skill/interest, or tracking down one of our escaped cows.
